Family Fun Day brought out the best in Somerville, as hundreds turned out to enjoy the attractions at Trum Field, Sunday June 26. There were floats, face painting, games, balloon animals; more to do than you could ask any kid to choose.

Running from noon to five, the event saw contests of strength, like getting through the treacherous obstacle course, and skill, like throwing a football through targets. It brought laughter and cheers from many children and hopefully a few moments of peace for their parents after their kids nodded off in exhaustion once they got home.
